Description:
White powder or granular. The density is 2.484(20°C). It is easily soluble in water and insoluble in organic solvents, has strong hygroscopicity, gradually absorbs water in the air and appears sticky. It can form soluble chelates with Ca, Ba, Mg, Cu, Fe and other metal ions. It is an excellent water treatment agent.

Application: It is mainly used as additive agent, PH adjustive agent, ferment agent, nourishment agent and so on. It is used as quality improver, pH regulator, metal ion chelator, adhesive and expander in food industry. It can stabilize natural pigment and maintain color in beans, cans and bean paste fillings; Fat can be emulsified in cans to keep the texture uniform; It can be used in canned meat and meat products to improve water retention and prevent fat deterioration. Adding into beer it can clarify the liquor and prevent turbidity. It is a water softener with excellent water quality and no precipitation. It plays the role of water retention, expansion and bleaching in aquatic products processing.

In the industrial field, it is used in oil field, papermaking, textile, printing and dyeing, petroleum, chemical industry, leather, metallurgy, building materials, coatings, refractories and other industries as soft water agent, buffer, flotation agent, dispersant and high-temperature binder.
