Production process:
Produced by oxidizing glucose with nitric acid at 70 ~ 80 ºC: 6H12O6+12HNO3→3C2H2O4·2H2O+3H2O+3NO+9NO2.
Application:
1. In textile printing and dyeing industry, it is used as mordant for cotton and wool, tanning and bleaching of leather, bleaching of plywood, etc;
2. Oxalic acid is an intermediate or necessary reagent in the synthesis of chemicals.
3. In the chemical industry, it is used for starch hydrolysis to produce pure dextrin and glucose, to produce various oxalate reagents for analysis, and to synthesize oxalate, oxalate ester, etc;
4. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to manufacture aureomycin, vitamin B2, streptomycin, tetracycline and other drugs;
5. It is used in metallurgical industry to refine high-purity nickel, rare earth metals and manufacture carbon rods.
Storage and handling:
The temperature during storage and transportation shall not be higher than 40 ºC . It shall be moisture-proof and rain proof, and shall be separated from alkaline substances to prevent contact with food object contact. Avoid direct contact with skin during handling.
Plant profile:
Our plant has a capacity of 105,000 tons of oxalic acid and 15,000 tons of refined oxalic acid and oxalate. We sell our oxalic acid to 56 countries and regions around the world and is widely used in lithium battery cathode material, bio-pharmacy, rare earth, fine chemicals, daily chemicals, textile printing and dyeing, as well as electronic ceramics, new energy vehicles, energy conservation and environmental protection etc.
